Carbon Fiber material for Blender

2 ratings

Carbon Fiber material that you can use in your Blender projects. It is procedural, so does not depend on textures and can be scaled without quality loss. On the other hand it is more computation heavy than a texture-based material would be. Material is UV dependent, so make sure that your model has UVs. The whole shader is groupped into one node with different settings exposed to customize.

Also note that it has a property - Anisotropic, that works only in Cycles renderer. Otherwise it works both in Eevee and Cycles. The material itself is marked as library asset, so it has to appear in your asset browser if you place the file into your asset library directory. You can find the path to asset library in Blender Preferences - File Paths tab. Or you can directly append it from file. Created in Blender 3.4. Have Fun!
